STORY BEHIND THE BOOK

When COVID-19 hit, I learned that a lot of the public health ideas: social distancing, mask wearing, and sitting in quarantine, were not new ideas, but we had forgotten how we handled past pandemics. I wanted to create a public education tool that would teach the future generations about public health during a pandemic and came up with the idea for this book! I am currently in medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and plan to spend my life teaching and healing my community.
